Who we are

NBuilders ("we", "us", "our") operates the Minder mobile application and the website at useminder.com. Contact: [email protected].

Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Minder app and our website. This website does not use cookies or third-party tracking embeds.

Data we collect

  • Account information — email and display name from Google or Apple sign-in.
  • Reminders and media — text, photos, PDFs, and audio you submit for AI extraction; reminder titles, dates, tags, and locations you confirm.
  • Device data — push notification tokens, app version, and crash logs to improve stability.
  • Purchase information — subscription status from Apple App Store or Google Play (not full payment card details).
  • Support messages — content you send via in-app support.

We do not sell your personal data.

How we use data

  • Provide and improve the Minder service
  • Authenticate your account
  • Process AI extraction and deliver reminders
  • Send push notifications you enable
  • Process subscriptions and restore purchases
  • Respond to support requests

AI and Google

Minder uses automated artificial intelligence to suggest reminder titles, dates, tags, and notes from content you submit. This is a core part of the service.

What is sent, and where

When you capture a reminder, the following may be processed:

  • Text you type
  • Photos and scanned documents
  • PDF files (text and/or page images)
  • Audio files
  • Optional notes you attach

Flow:

  1. Content is transmitted to our servers (hosted on Google Cloud).
  2. Media files are stored in Cloudflare R2 while we process your request.
  3. The relevant content is then sent to Google's Gemini API (Google LLC) for AI analysis.

We send only what is needed to run extraction. We do not use your content to train our own AI models.

Google as a processor

Google processes your submitted content under Google's own terms and privacy policies, including:

Under Google's published Gemini API terms for developers, content submitted through the API is not used by Google to train generalized models. Google's policies can change — check the links above for the current version.

Accuracy and your responsibility

AI output is probabilistic and may be wrong, incomplete, or miss important dates. You must review every suggestion in the app before saving a reminder. Minder is not medical, legal, tax, financial, or other professional advice.

Sensitive content

Do not upload content you are not comfortable having processed on our servers and by Google as described above (for example government IDs, full payment card numbers, or confidential third-party data), unless you accept that risk.

Human review

Extraction is automated. We do not routinely read your uploads for AI processing. We may access content only when you contact support, when required by law, or to protect the security of the service.

Data may be processed in the United States, Israel, the European Union, and other countries where these providers operate.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account via in-app settings or email. Account deletion removes your reminders and associated data from our systems.

Children

Minder is not directed at children under 13.
